MEET CARLY

Carly is a proud community leader who has demonstrated an ability to implement effective solutions. She prides herself on being a hard worker, compassionate, committed to acting with integrity, and a problem solver.

I grew up in Minnow Lake here in Greater Sudbury. My husband and I moved into a quiet west end neighbourhood and had 2 sons. We then moved to Manitoba for my husband's work.

While in Manitoba, I began a career in the non-profit sector, where I was introduced to the concept of Social Enterprise. This concept of using smart business practices to generate the funds required to solve complex social challenges has inspired my love of innovative problem solving.

When I had the opportunity to move back to Greater Sudbury in 2021, I didn't hesitate. I have proudly worked to build housing units, support people to secure meaningful employment, solve the trades labour deficity, and reduce poverty in our community since.

My family and I are proud to call Ward 9 home.
